Dr. Greggory Tharp
After graduation from Delta State University, Dr. Greggory Tharp received his Doctorate of Dental Medicine in 1986 from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry. He continued his education at the Medical College of Georgia, achieving a specialty certificate in Prosthodontics & Maxillofacial Prosthetics. He began private practice in 1988 while completing extensive training in implant dentistry at the renowned Misch Implant Institute (Pittsburgh), where he was awarded Fellowship status.
Dr. Tharp is recognized as a Diplomate of the American Board of Prosthodontics, and Diplomate of the American Board of Oral Implantology, as well as a Fellow in both the International Congress of Oral Implantologists and American College of Prosthodontists. He is a member of the American Dental Association and Mississippi Dental Association as well. Regarded nationwide for his knowledge in the dental profession, Dr. Tharp is a frequent speaker to dentists and the public on issues regarding oral health and aesthetics.
Meet
Dr. Keith Klaus
An up and coming Cosmetic and Restorative Dentist, Dr. Keith Klaus is driven by a passion to merge art with science. Dr. Klaus began his journey, graduating with honors from Mississippi State University with a B.S. in Biological Engineering. He would go on to sharpen his engineering skills working as a research engineer at the Engineering Research and Development Center, a national laboratory for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers. In the field of dentistry, Dr. Klaus saw an opportunity to utilize his knowledge and skills in engineering to create beautiful and functional smiles.
Dr. Klaus attended the University of Mississippi Medical Center School of Dentistry where he earned his Doctorate of Dental Medicine (D.M.D.), graduating with honors. Dr. Klaus conducted research in the area of implant osseointegration, studying the properties of anodized titanium. He would go on to present his research at the 49th Annual Dental Students’ Conference on Research, sponsored by the ADA Foundation.
Meet
Dr. Martin Kelly
Dr. Kelly grew up in Madison, MS. He attended the University of Mississippi where he graduated with honors with a B.S. degree in Biology. He then furthered his education at Mississippi College with a Master of Science in Biomedical Sciences. Dr. Kelly obtained his Doctor of Dental Medicine from the University of Mississippi School of Dentistry and graduated Summa Cum Laude.
While in dental school, Dr. Kelly received multiple awards, including the American Academy of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology Dental Student Award, the Quintessence Award for Clinical Achievement in Restorative Dentistry, the Wallace V. Mann Jr. Award, and the UMMC 50th Anniversary Award.
